Assign to User

In response to a trigger, assign the target task to a collaborator on the shared project it belongs to

Example Rules

  • When a task enters the “In Review” section, assign it to your reviewer
  • When a task is created in a shared project, assign it to your teammate
  • When a specific label is assigned, assign the task to the project lead

Assigning to a user is only available on projects shared with other Todoist collaborators. If the assigned user later loses access to the project, the rule is automatically paused.
